There IS such a thing as too much cheese

it’s been a total balls-to-the-wall 4-day+ weekend of cheese. photos soon to be posted, but i’m barely functional as it is. when everyone’s in town, we get to have 10-hour workdays, working weekends and partying until 5am.monty python + cheese = too fucking funny.

an aside: alessandro has found the perfect nickname for me in piedmontese dialect: ambaradàn (AM bar uh DANG), which means ‘a small little thing that doesn’t seem to work.’

    do you mean how many of the cheeses mentioned in the monty python sketch have i had? well just over the weekend:
    caerphilly, stilton, no norwegian jarlsberger — but norwegian geitost, lancashire (delicious), double gloucester, cheshire, brie, gouda, gorgonzola and cheddar.

    and the ones that aren’t listed (that i remember): charolais, tomme de crayeuse, coolea, crozier blue, durrus, milleens, tymsboro, andante acapella, humboldt fog, tumalo tomme, brescianella, fontina, comt and probably 17 others i’m forgetting.

    and that’s not even counting the 15kg of cheese in my fridge right now.

    wish i could have been there to have helped you. are you sure you had too much cheese? maybe you needed a fig to clear your palate.
